Experience in Chicago-->Priceless

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim~

It's been months since the last time I post here.
Time has passed by me so fast that I don't realize it has been more than 1 and a half year I've been here in US. Lots of happenings have came to me.
STC 2009, IFR pennstate 2009, Muktamar 2009 at Atlanta and many other events that have given me so much experience, which has brought me to where I am standing now.
And there are no words to describe how blessed and how grateful I am to be given these chances except by praising The One and The Only, ALLAH s.w.t.
Alhamdulillah wa lillahilhamdu.

bismillah,back to the topic.

Last weekend, from January 15-17, two of my friends and me went to the Dr. Roslan's home (the Director of MSD Chicago) to join an event, "Daurah Penguasaan Bahan".
Alhamdulilllah, I met friends and got to know new friends from other universities, learn tafsir of surah al-Falaq, al-Ikhlas, al-Masad, an-nasr, al-Kafiruun as well as the first three hadith of hadith 40.It was such a wonderful way to spend time during weekend.

Before went back to Pennstate, we went strolling around the Chicago city.It was my first time and I found this city was beautiful as the buildings were nicely organized. While we were driving between the building in the city, the view was awesome. We went to "the bean" ( I'm sot sure whether this is the right name), a large bean-shaped glass that reflected the Chicago city around it. I'm not really sure why but I was having fun with Auni and kak Nazirah at "the bean".

However, the fun was ended as we found our car was missing. Only then we realized that we have parked our car at the tow zone, but the problem is there was no contact information was left for us. We were lost how we were going to get our car back. Without a clue, we tried to call the number written on the parking paying machine. After quite a few dials, we managed to get the phone number and address of the office. To cut the story short, we got our car back with $160 USD. Expensive~!

After jama' prayer and dinner, we start our journey back home.
The exciting part is, for the very first time, I drove in US and I managed to drove for about 5 and 1/2 hours~!
Thanks to my other two friends.
I guess I need to start working on my license~!hehe...

Even though we have to pay for the car, excitement and joy has never leave me. This is indeed a fun journey.
As long as we remember that everything are from Allah s.w.t., we will acknowledge that it comes either as a reward, a reminder or a test to give us lesson in life.

Wallahua'lam.
